Most ISP’s buy large amounts of Internet access from the large ISP’s and then aggregate their own customers’ service together and route it over these large capacity circuits. The idea is that if they buy a large “pipe” of service (DS-3, OC-3 or larger) and then slice it up into smaller “pipes” for individual customers (T-1, DS-3 etc.) they can provide Internet service to their individual customers and make a tidy profit while doing so. This model can work well in the early stages of growth, however, as more and more customers sign up, the service can become oversubscribed which leads to poor performance. In addition, the smaller ISP’s new network becomes an additional potential point of failure.

TNC has long-standing, large volume relationships with many carriers for both voice and data traffic. We have leveraged these relationships to secure unbelievable pricing not normally available to enterprise customers. Our Internet solution is simple: we connect our customers directly to the Top ISP’s networks! No aggregation, no peering, no extra network gear between your company’s network and the Internet. Our customers are able to choose from MCI (UUnet), Wiltel, Global Crossing and others, based on price, quality or both! And, as you would expect from TNC, this service can be invoiced on your regular TNC bill, right alongside your long distance service.
